About Our Office
The purpose of institutional effectiveness (IE) at Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) is helping organizational units to make plans, measure outcomes, analyze results, and report on shared efforts. Collectively, this process of accountability helps to meet accreditation standards. More importantly, it promotes purpose and precision in each person’s functional role as together we fulfill the College’s educational mission and connect with community stakeholders.
Through the IE office, MDCC maintains compliance with external reporting requirements to accrediting and regulatory agencies such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the Mississippi Community College Board (MCCB), and the National Center for Education Statistics: Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
