Instructional Technology


Welcome to the Instructional Technology Department at MDCC! We’re here to support students and faculty in making the most of technology in and out of the classroom. From our modern technology center to hands-on training sessions, we’re dedicated to helping you confidently use and integrate technology in your learning and teaching. Whether you need a space for individual study, group projects, or just want to explore new tech tools, we’re here to help make it easy and enjoyable.

Meet the Team

Jason Zuehlke

Jason Zuehlke serves as MDCC’s Instructional Technology Coordinator. Jason began serving in this role on July 1, 2021. Prior to this position, Jason had served in various roles in the MDCC IT Department. With a passion for instruction and utilization of technology to enhance that instruction, Jason is looking forward to serving the faculty and students of MDCC.
 

Mary Ellen Buchanan

Mary Ellen Buchanan serves as the Instructional Design Specialist. Joining the Instructional Technology team in 2024, she brings a history of service with her from years at MDCC in other roles in both workforce and academia. Her primary focus is to aid faculty in designing accessible and engaging content for their courses.
